Video door entry, gate intercoms and visitor management — from single-unit tenanted addresses to commercial reception desks. Cloud-managed where it earns its keep, standalone where it doesn’t.
For modern commercial sites we lead with UniFi Talk and the UniFi door entry range — tightly integrated with UniFi Access, video at the door, mobile answering on staff phones, and one management interface for the whole stack. For tenants who want a proper handset rather than an app, we pair it with hardware that looks like a handset and works like one.
For more demanding installs — multi-tenant blocks, larger commercial receptions, or where SIP integration into an existing PBX matters — we install 2N. It’s the industry workhorse for door entry: weatherproof, well-supported, and it talks to almost anything.
Where the existing system is Comelit, Paxton Entry, or BPT, we’ll service, expand or take over the support contract. Door entry hardware has a long service life — ripping out a working system because it’s ten years old isn’t value, it’s waste. We’ll only recommend replacement when there’s a real reason.
A door station mounted for the average visitor — not so high it shows the top of their head, not so low it points at their chest. Wide enough lens to catch deliveries holding parcels. Lit enough at night to actually see who’s there.
Calls reach the right person on the first ring, fall back to a second person if they don’t answer, and roll off to a missed-call notification you can act on later. Not a dead handset and an annoyed delivery driver.
Staff phones can answer the door from anywhere — but only if the app is reliable, the notifications work, and there’s a fallback when the phone’s flat. We test it, document it, and train the team before handover.
For blocks, lettings, and serviced offices — per-tenant call routing, per-tenant credentials, central admin for the landlord. Tenants change without rewiring the door panel.
IP-rated hardware, proper containment, surge protection, and a power supply that doesn’t die in the first January cold snap. Standard install on every gate job, not an upgrade option.
For commercial receptions and serviced sites — QR codes for pre-booked visitors, contractor sign-in, audit log of who was on site and when. Tied into the access system so a visitor doesn’t end up wandering the building.
Per-tenant routing, fast tenant changeovers, landlord admin in one place. No rewiring when units turn over.
Video door entry tied to the reception desk, visitor pre-booking, contractor sign-in, after-hours mobile answering.
Weatherproof gate intercoms, ANPR integration, audio-only or video, mobile answering for sites without manned gates.
Video door entry to a handset and a phone. Gate intercoms integrated with home automation where it makes sense.
Yes — on modern systems that’s standard. You can have both: a handset on the wall for backup, and the call also rings on nominated staff phones. We’ll set up the rules so it goes to the right person and falls back sensibly if they don’t answer.
Almost always. Older door entry kit is often rock solid — the camera might want replacing, the handsets might need refurb, but the spine of the system can keep running for years. We’ll survey, give you an honest view, and only push replacement if something can’t be patched.
Calls between the door station and the in-building handset work locally. Mobile answering needs the internet, since that’s how the call reaches your phone. We design for both: handsets on site for resilience, mobile for convenience.
One door panel, per-tenant call routing, per-tenant credentials. When a tenant moves out, the landlord revokes their access from a central interface — no engineer visit, no rewiring, no swap-out. For larger blocks we can run multiple panels feeding into one management platform.
That’s exactly the case for installing through us. Door entry on its own is a buzzer with a camera. Tied into access control, it’s a credential issuance point. Tied into CCTV, it’s evidence on every visitor. One installer, one integrated stack.
We install both, often together. The intercom triggers the gate control as part of the same job — not as a separate trade arguing about who runs which cable. Power, certification and containment go through our electrical partner.
Door entry rarely sits on its own — it’s the visible face of a wider access and security system.
